High School

Senior Project Day

by Todd Lawson

May 13, 2010

Vermilion High School seniors had a very busy day on Tuesday, May 11.  The seniors participated in Senior Project Day.  The day started out with the Senior Board serving the faculty and staff of VHS breakfast.  The seniors then got their traditional Panoramic Class Portrait.  After the portrait, faculty and staff served the senior class breakfast.  Along with breakfast came senior superlatives.  After breakfast, seniors loaded on buses and headed to their Senior Project.  The Senior Project consists of groups of seniors giving back to the community with three hours of community service hours.  Thanks to the following locations for participating in Senior Project Day: Erie MetroParks, Lucy Idol, South Street Elementary School, Vermilion Intermediate School, Vermilion Rotary and Girls Scouts of Northeast Ohio.  Following the project, seniors were served lunch and dismissed.  Thanks to the Class of 2010 and teachers for another successful Senior Project.  Click on photo to view more pictures.
